    Il-76T is a civil modification of the famous military-transport aircraft. This craft was made in 1981, discarded in 1995. Today it stands at the parking of the aviation technical training center in Sheremetyevo, Moscow, and is used for study of students who examine the plane for their practical course.

    Right now and right here you can visit assembly shops in Komsomolsk, Russia, where Superjets SSJ-100-95 (RRJ-95) are made and to see how specialists are working there. Even female ones.

    The Tu-144 is a supersonic Soviet transport aircraft. There were sixteen Tu-144′s built.

    Tu-144D USSR-77115 is the last Tu-144 still flying, and right now we have chance to have a close look at it and to even get inside.

    Yes, MAKS air show again! This time we are going to see how helicopters are used in emergency situations such as fire fighting or hostage taking. Mil’ and Kamov helicopters make the show.

    Il-86 is a wide-body passenger plane intended for transportation of 350 passengers. The first flight was performed in 22 December 1976, Il-86 was put out of service in 2011.

    This one – Il-86 RA-86103 performed its first flight in 1989, ceased flying in 2008.

    Soviet company “Aeroflot” was the largest air company in the entire history of the country – 130 million passengers annually! Without any worries people could buy tickets and fly somewhere on Saturday or Sunday. It was exactly “somewhere”, not where they needed or wanted to go. Because to get tickets on a plane that would fly where they needed they had to stand in a long line at the air agency two weeks in advance. Those airports were wonderful, all those kiosks, cafes and even toilets…|

    Tupolev Tu-154 (NATO reporting name: Careless) is a three-engine medium-range narrow-body airliner designed in the mid-1960s. Tu-154M – its most upgraded version, together with significant aerodynamic refinement, this led to much lower fuel consumption and therefore longer range, as well as lower operating costs.

    Armenian air forces have two air bases, the first one is located in Gyumri and uses attack aircrafts Su-25, another one is in Yerevan at the joint airdrome Erebuni. This post is about one of the squadrons of the second base.
