I take it you didn’t notice the simile face after my post and the winged angel after the Trolly Aux post afterwards. A bit of banter between us and I have been posting on this thread and not complaining about this thread.
So what’s your problem.?
Brian
On UKAR they say it was a bird strike on Miss Helen.
Brian
A lot of air show threads creeping into the Historic Aircraft thread even though there is a thread for air shows. 😀

The warbird line up at ARCo is impressive. 7 Spits, Buchon and Mustang.

This close to an air show I wasn’t expecting it to be busy, and it wasn’t. PV202 was passenger flying, TFC’s Hawk 75 went up for a handling flight and some aerobatics and the Wildcat was also due to fly as was the HAC Hurricane. Amongst the GA visitors was some oldies but goldies like a very pretty 1942 Stinson V77 Gullwing/NC50238, a 1948 Aeronca 15AC/G-AREX and a bit more up to date 1959 Focke Wulf (Piaggio) P-149D/D-EARY. In the order taken.

I’d walked past the other Tempest, that doesn’t have the big radiator intake under the engine, and wrongly as it turns out though this was a Typhoon. Slapped wrists. 😀
Post above changed.

And 15% discount in the shops and restaurants instead of 20%. Mind you with the new membership I wont have to pay to get onto HMS Belfast or in the Cabinet War Rooms like now.

Had a visit to Hendon today. Maybe the Beacon isn’t dead after all.:D
