It seems that Duxford may well be the closest and that is at least a 500 mile round trip!
Where does it mention displaying at Duxford?

Legends night shoot. Mmmmmmmm 😀

Good job Bob wasn’t around as I was on my hands and knees again.:D

Friday Legends can be a bit packed but Friday for the May show shouldn’t be a problem crowd wise.
Big yellow Sea King sitting on the grass here at Duxford at the moment and the North Weald Hunter has just done a circuit. Nice.

A very busy day at Duxford with the Classic Car Show being held around the Land Warfare Hall end of the site and visitors still queuing to get in gone mid-day. The two Mk.1 Spitfires, with a Vans photo ship, took off 15 minutes after the museum had opened and returned about 35 minutes later with a very nice slow and sedate aerobatics routine over the airfield. Early afternoon and Charlie Brown took off in the HAC Spitfire. Despite the sun shining and being quite warm, there were high thin clouds which diffused the light and wasn’t at all good for photography.

Just hope Mark remembers he’s got a passenger to bring back 😀

The two Mk.1 Spitfires were out and about again this morning with a very nice and sedate display over the airfield on their return. DCW has cadged a lift in a Rapide to Abingdon and pedestrians are still queuing around the corner to get in for the car show I would presume.

I printed the participation list out when it first went up and the PDF there now is slightly different from the original, as in a bigger typeface, hence the ‘Frankie’ in ‘Ferocious Frankie’ going onto a second line and the operators list not amended to account for that.
