But what is there to discuss as what happens to The Fighter Collection has got nothing to do with any body other than the Grey family.

In short, my take is that the collection will reduce in size and be focussed on a particular theme.

Or it colud be all sold off, lock, stock and bubble wrap.

Or it could etc.. ad nauseum

25/30 minute journey took me 1h10min. I knew about the lorry crash on the A14 but still don’t know why the M11 was at a snails pace

Once the clouds parted and the sun came out, it was quite nice wandering around Duxford. The only warbird movement was Frankie returning to 3 hangar from ARCo and the Stearman going in the other direction. In 5 hangar the Cockle Mark II two-man collapsible canoe was receiving a bit of TLC.

A bit of Googling (other search engines are available:D) and Brad Pitt already holds a pilots licence.

OFMC’s P-51, ‘Ferocious Frankie’ went for a test flight today with the prop and spinner from the Hardwick Warbirds ‘Marinell’ bolted to the front to aid with an ongoing vibration problem. A nice bit of display flying over the airfield as well. Meanwhile the only noticeable changes since my last visit include in the American Air Museum, the B-17 has had its chin turret attached and the TFC Corsair has spread its wings. The Lynx, that had been resident in 3 hangar, has had a Bimble down to AirSpace to keep the inmates there company. The Boultbee Flight Academy Spitfire T-9/(G-ILDA) is in temporary residence in 3 hangar and apart from a couple of GA visitors the only other flying was from a Sikorsky S-76C/(G-FULM) doing circuits around the airfield.

And the car park on the Jet Pan was only half full, or half empty, when that was taken 😀
