The Catalina emerged from winter maintenance today and a sure sign that summer is on the way. Hopefully.

Meanwhile in AirSpace, the stage was being erected for the L’Oreal Roadshow tomorrow.

A friendly wave from the Hurricane pilot and Air Harrods were back again with their S-76.

Just prior to the T-28 taking to the skies, a pair of Air Harrods Sikorsky S-76 helicopters (G-FULM & G-WIWI for the number crunchers) did a few circuits and landings. Meanwhile in Hangar 3, the Nieuport replica was receiving a bit of TLC.

After a 10 minute handling flight to the north of Duxford, the TFC Hawk 75 was fueled up and Patrice Marchasson headed south for the weekend with a final destination of Le Bourget, Paris. Meanwhile, Terence the Tug was playing musical aeroplanes with the ARCo/HFL fleet in hangar 2.

After an excellent aerobatics display for the Polish Air Force veterans gathered at the Officer Mess at RAF Northolt, Charlie Brown parked up the HAC Hurricane on the ASP outside 32Sqn hangars for the night shoot. Later on he did an engine run but no flames on start up.

Oooo, I could do with another silly hat  😀

It wasn’t the snow flurries that were the problem today but the wind chill and although I was well wrapped up, wearing two pair of gloves had little effect and at times I had problems handling my camera.
