    I’m from Gainsboro’ and I find what you said about my home-town………absolutely correct!! Some of the people that I know there couldn’t lie straight in bed!!
    Anyhoo,my family still live there so if you lot can get more info about the company that’s restoring the kites,I’ll send my spies out.

    Thanks for all the help,guys,I’m sure the wife will be thrilled that I can find a new “happy place”!
    BC,is that a Komet an a 109 I can see-say it’s so!!
    What other ‘planes are there?
    Mmmmm,idea for a new thread;what’s the current term for an aeroplane-kite,crate,plane,airframe?Answers to the usual place.

    For British Canuck;
    I’m emmigrating to the land of the moose at the end of this year and would love to know where the good air-museums are around the Toronto area.
    I’ll have withdrawl symptoms if I don’t find the Canadian version of good old Duxford!!

    Sorry,the poor man was definitly topped by the MIB-he was an educated man-so he should have picked a quicker,less painful method than the old wrist-slash and ,in my experience,suicidles go far away where they won’t be found, to carry out the act.
    Probably the same assassins that did Diana……………

    Bit of a late post,but I remember the Storch at Duxford, a few years ago, flying towards the tower-into wind-and coming to a virtual hover.The commentator couldn’t do much for laughing!

    If your VHS copy of the film is about to snap,go to CDuniverse on the web and order a DVD!
    I’ve had mine a couple of weeks and it sounds sooo much better in surround sound!
    NB you must have a multi-region dvd player to watch it as it’s from the states-you can’t get it here,typical!!
    About the siren,I served in RAFG in the eighties and the siren sounded the same……
