Perhaps they could do some domestic flights from GLA to feed their longhaul flights from GLA? Next year GSM will operate long haul from GLA to SFB daily, BOS daily, YHM daily, LAS twice weekly, YVR twice weekly, YYC once weekly and BGI weekly.

Just got an email from FlyGlobespan, chairman is quoted as saying more long haul to be announced soon from GLA.

GLA-LAS and GLA-BGI was announced a month or so ago, along with GLA-BOS.

    The flights start in January.

GSM MAN-YHM was always going to be daily, like it is from GLA and STN.

GSM have are also adding more flights to Canada.
    GLA-YVR 2x weekly
    GLA-YYC 1x weekly
    STN-YVR
    STN-YYC

GSM are not operating GLA-SFB on Wednesdays in September as they are using it for crew training for all the new crew starting long haul at GLA and MAN.

There are no scheduled flights from Scotland to Venice but bmi British Midland do operate a charter flight direct from GLA to VCE, operates for Cosmos.

You can also fly direct from GLA to Verona with bmi British Midland, again thats with Cosmos.

Other option would be maybe GLA-AMS-VCE with KLM.

I have only ever visited MSE once, long before EU Jet started. Back then their was only 5 check-in desk and a really cheap canteen that looking like something from a school lol. I don’t know if the airport is still like this or if any work got done for EU Jet stating-up a few years ago?

Btw about EU Jet, I notice they are still advertising in Glasgow. Why the hell are EU jet still advertising their flights from GLA to MSE nearly 2 years after the route was axed, and where are they getting the money from to do the advertising considering they don’t exist anymore? Are they advertising anywhere else in the UK?
