They are using a mix of both 757s and 767s. A 767 operated the flight 3 days ago and a few flights last week.
They have had 2 short haul aircraft (757 and A321) based in the pased so i am guesing the 2 A321s will operate the flights that the 75 and 321 operated? We dont have a based A330 but we have one passing threw almost on a daily bases and on somedays 2 A330s.
Correct me if I am wrong but where the PIK flights not peak summer only running on a fortnightly frequency with SFB operating on the alternate weeks? If so then this is a capacity increase so good news with better frequency and will be operated by a A330 not slightly smaller 767.
Brillliant pics there.
Very nice pics, like the Saudi (MD80?) 😀
LFC – On the calendar report just now, they reported ‘live’ from the scene, was still there.
Thanks for the pics Steve :), EK – Its an Airtours charter flight, including Airtours, Direct, Aspro etc etc.
Yea a charter for the MyTravel group.
Was operating for Direct Holidays, dont know what other tour operators where on the flight. Replacement aircraft *might* be comming in from Athens.
Pretty sure the planned 737s are ADDITIONAL to the 757.
Nope the 757 is 100% going when the 737s come. The extra capacity will be used to make GLA-CDG, GLA-ATH and GLA-AMS all 5 weekly.
Very impresive pic as most at from Funchal
Air Scotland will start 5 weekly GLA-AMS in July or August.
Also expecting a Corsair 747 at GLA for the final at murryfield.
Looks like about livel with the intl pier so yea…..
If that ever happened to me I’d answer with:
“I paid for my seat just like everyone else. I’ll do with the blind what I want.”
Politely of course.
Exactly what i would do and have done.
Wehey 747 😀 just to go with this thread and 747s what about a cracker of a 747 pic at GLA? http://myaviation.net/?pid=00288944
I think (correct me if wrong) but it is incase of an emergancy so you can see wither there is fire on your side of the aircraft.
