THe issue is the staff who came over to servisair and their contracts. So all leading down to staffing issues!
I doubt it, since nobody is actually contracted to do it!
🙁
Fire Service – 2300 – 0500
Servisair / Airport Authority 0500 – 2300
Lack of trained people not helping the matter!
Or just lack of staff.
Haha i dont know why i even put it! Just incase?
Nice shots…can’t help but think that Tu-214 is almost identical to the 757 or A321
Im going for A321, that was my first thought when i saw it! 😎
Good to see JEDI, handled it other night here at LBA (18/1/09)
You are right, there are some ground staff out there who dont give one! I have seen a/c come in with damage which must of been from the departing airport!
All training that is provided from handling agents is that any damage should be repoerted straight away and no equipment moved.
I just can not belive that some ground staff would leave it and risk the flight of god knows how many passengers!
Quite right, I have repaired too much damage caused by these careless fools! 😡
I do hope your not putting all ramp agents under that thought!
Very very sad news!
Hearing it down here on the ramp at LBA, and already new safety procedures are getting issued!
Its such a shame this has to happen for us all to get new procedures!
Very sad!
Don’t be too hard on the guys doing the de icing they are working in low temperatures, poor conditions and have got everyone on their backs to get the job done quick.
Rgds Cking
haha im one of them!
In training each de-icer are all told and shown where to and not to spray the fluid! This must be a case of pure lapse in concentration!
Does any one know what type of fluid they use over there? Is it the same as over here?
If it is ive been covered in the fluid and had no problems!
JET2, from Leeds, Toronto, Orlando,
To be honnest i cant really see these ones yet, but as for the other EU routes im not sure on the market around the LBA area!
Im guessing you mean weak pound?
WHere i work we have ecowing26 Type II , 75% fluid, basically sugar and water, and 25% water.
a LS departed other night from LBA with a “dallo 100 papa” call sign some where in africa
