    I will be flying with Contiental on a A340. Anyone been on one of these before?? What is it like??

    Thanks for the helpful suggestions, however I forgot to mention I will be at Newark on the 20th of Decemeber this year, Im sure that will make it even worse more people no doubt.

    I guess I could hope for a 6 or 8 hour delay at Heathrow but a good book or an internet cafe will be fine.

    It looks like I will be flying with Continetal Airlines, no idea what aircraft yet, so what can I expect for a 8 hour flight in a steel tube??

    Any ideas what terminal accepts international flights??

    Another question on the subject of baggage, as I am on a transfer flight will I actually see my main luggage? or will it be transfered straight for loading on the next a/c??

    I thought most of the Airbus cockpits were the same looking to allow easier training on all types

    The only reason why I dislike flying is the floor doesnt feel solid. I know aircraft companied have spent billions on R&D to make a great aircraft, but the floor never seems stable and solid and that part always un-nerves me.

    Why is AC better than UA?
