These clouds and the super lighting continued through the hawk display which followed. Normally I would not try to take pictures of the Hawk as it is Small, Dark and Fast, which are the exact opposites to all perfect photographers wishes, but I tried and got some resonable pictures for once.

This then gave way to the finale, firstly a solo hurricane display by Charlie Brown, and then an 8 ship Spitfire display. The Spitfires flew by in full formation before two broke off (which later performed a duo) and the rest tail chased around the airfield. The duo then performed high barrel rolls, paving the way for a solo display by EP120. This was superb and brought the day to an end in the best way possible.

I hope you enjoyed the mini review and pictures. It was a great day out and ended the season perfectly. I cannot wait til next year, and a anxious to see what ne warbirds will be on the scene.
