I was under the impression that, for example, the FR.XIV was fitted with cameras for low-level armed reconnaissance? Same went for the early Allison engined Mustangs in RAF service.
What other projects have TIGHAR been involved in and have any of them come to fruition? I recall a P-38 on a Welsh sandbank that is, as far as I know, still there, anything else?
