UNIDENTIFIED MONOCHROME AIRCRAFT PHOTOS
Just worked out how to add them to the post! (updates now printed below each photo – correct unless you know different!)
T21 Sedbergh glider at Halton or Exeter or Chivenor possibly
Friendship PH-FKA was at Farnborough in 1966
Jet Provost 52 No.603 of the Iraq Air Force, along with tails of Victor XL233, Dart Herald G-ASVO Shackleton XF708 is SBAC Farnborough September 1964.
Meteor T.Mk.7 at Chivenor?
Comet nose, could it be removed from G-ALZK?
Hunter, it appears to be the torn off rear fuselage and you can see the airbrake at the bottom of it, details of that match pics of airbrakes. Could be an F.2/5? Could be fire dump at the south-eastern end of Chivenor, with the married quarters in the distance?
Twin pin with burnt out forward section. RAF Andover for fire practice? Is it XL968 (c/no.520) which was dumped at Andover on 30/10/1967?
DH110 XF828, at Culdrose were it became an insructional airframe A2500 1960.
Valentias
Hi Desertblooms,
Sorry to jump on your thread but I was very excited to find your Valentia photos. I am currently working on an article which includes the crash of a 216 Sqn Valentia – K3166. I have some photos to support this element but none of a complete Valentia in 216 Sqn markings. Can you help? PM sent too.
Yours

Nice to see the ‘Great British Public’ indulging in it’s favourite sport – bashing anyone who is trying to achieve something worthwhile! It is early days in the plans that Morayvia have for the future of the Nimrod and other exhibits it hopes to gather. You should be encouraging not discouraging such efforts. Big things from little acorns…..
YELLOW BARS
That is a possibility, though the only unit I know the aircraft – XX327 – served with for sure is 2 TWU 151 Sqn. Yellow bars are not 151 Sqn and the yellow is a much richer shade than that used on the yellow/black checks of 63 Sqn. Perhaps the serial will jog someone’s memory?

I considered it might be this one but the colour scheme is different. The scheme for the aircraft is from August 1975 as described in my earler post. Unfortunately it is not possible to see any other marking due to the photo angle.

NLNT
Yes Duxman, you are correct, a bit fuzzy in the photo but on checking it is NL11T. Any ideas on this one?

Thanks Duxman, just what I was hoping for.
