I think the point about that fact they these poeple are down to earth, 1 was a family man, a teacher etc is irrelevant, the bottom line is, no matter how well you think you know somebody, you don’t really know them at all, I say this to my wife alot, you just don’t know me, and visa versa, not really. One of my mates had a wife, 4 kids etc, he had been married 14 years, in this time she was leading a double life, she was a prostitute in a brothel in Bristol, he only found out by chance, she’d been doing it for years.
These guys who are “brainwashed” are exactly that, normal family men, high up people are going to be used in this country as they will blend in with the public and appear normal, these guys are told that they will be martyrs, they are off to see god and doing god’s work if they kill the “infidels” who are killing their own people, you can see how they are led to believe this but on the other hand you would think they are rational enough to know that what is in the Koran is the truth, same as Christians, if they are preached by a Jehova Witness they dismiss it as “utter tosh”, this is the part I cannot understand, how they are led to believe that killing is just and accepted.
