You are completely missing my point, maybe I didn’t convey it properly, but at no point did I say people couldn’t react in “any way they want”, of course they can, but I don’t have to like it, that is my democratic right. I didn’t like the way he and his henchmen were rejoicing after 9/11 etc, and I certainly do not like the way the Americans are bigging this up with the typical gung ho “we got him, watch this” type attitude. I would have rather seen him taken into custody and tried for his crimes and sentenced to death. Look at the senate all sat there watching it like some freak show. Honestly, we preach our values onto other cultures and then act in just the manner “we” are trying to suppress. let me say again, I am glad he’s dead, I am glad they killed him, I do not condone what he has orchestrated in the past in any way, shape or form. I just don’t like the medieval way we go about acting after the event. Post 116 from laviticus sums it up perfectly.

I found all the prancing around and gung ho type attitude to the killing just a little bit distasteful. We are better off without him but they’ve killed someone and everyone is acting like it is ok. They may as well put his head on a pole and parade it around Time Square :rolleyes:
