He will be sadly missed…
As Bruce said above, Gerry and his company (Tri-State) are major suppliers to the Mustang industry. Gerry was honest and provided solid opinions, great product, and was helping us in a P-51 rebuild. He was a great guy, dedicated to his family and friends and will be sadly missed.
Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Saving aviaton history…
Jim Pierce should be recognized as a real pioneer and has done an amazing job of saving aviation history. A nice guy on top of it.
Austrailian Air Show…
Mark,
Thanks for the information on the show and for any contact information you can acquire. Much appreciated! Thanks to everyone else for feedback on this topic. Next request will be for a GeeBee R1 replica source…
What if you could buy one?
Do you think anyone would buy a flying Bouchon? What about the costs?
Does anyone have contact information for Tempest Two? Website?
I believe he also had a Cessna 501SP Citation Jet which was in Colorado for a while.
Introductory ride a possibility…
After we displayed at the NBAA show in Florida and introduced the Me262 ride program, the idea of an shorter, introductory ride is now being considered. The article in Air & Space on the 262 sparked some strong interest also, so a tax deductible donation of $10K to the Collings Foundation with a ride benefit in the 262 is a real possibility. Rides will happen in Seattle at Legend Flyers… http://www.warbirdrecovery.com for more information and let us know your thoughts. Thanks!
Last Me262/B-24 Flight…
Rest assured that there is no way the Collings Foundation would put rare aviation assets at risk by taking chances. All flights have a thorough briefing with pilots in command who have thousands of hours of experience. This will not be a program like an Ulitmate High dogfight, but more like a fantasy reinactment of what it felt like to be in skies during the war. This is also a tax deductable opportunity here in the states.
A few shots from a ride in Witchcraft…
Thanks to Rob Collings for giving me a chance to experience the B-24!
It was in Denver on June 9th…
