Here’s a photo of Tango Tango in the two-seat conversion to show you what it looks like…
Definitely a convertible… Stay tuned for test flight updates.
Luxembourgh, not Belguim- sorry for missing the typo… Tried to get this news out too fast! Since this was a new manufacture it had some wierd hang ups, but it is handled now and look for some more good news on the Me262 Project soon.
Mustang parts…
Does anyone have contact information on the spare parts you are talking about? We are looking for some NAA rudder pedals and other cockpit components for our Mustang project.
Thanks for any help on contact information!
Still looking for any contacts for airshows in UK… to start…
Thanks to all who have commented on this request. I would like any airshow coordinator contact information if anyone has it. And for those looking for a cockpit shot of the 262…
Great ideas! Keep them coming- European sites please…
Check out this new page on the Stormbirds site for information on the 109s and what we are doing with them. http://www.stormbirds.com/bf109project/
Hope you enjoy the book and would appreciate a review on Amazon.uk!
We will certainly talk when we can afford to hire a writer/photographer! These are from a long-time photographer friend who stopped by today and was stunned at the new look. Let me know when you are in the area for a tour. A PDF of the book review is attached.
Bottom line is that we now have some FLYING examples… Should have some video up on our http://www.warbirdrecovery.com site soon. Wow!
Cheers!
Still in WA
White One is still in Everett at this time. Will post information on any movement…
And for the corporate jet jockies…
This shot is from a crosswind landing near London… Got real ugly…
Where the 262s are going…
Two of the five aircraft are sold. One to a new owner in Arizona and one is going to Munich, Germany. There are three more for sale, but there are several very interested parties who wish to purchase one. Stay tuned…
There is more information on the available aircraft at http://www.airassets.com. That is the parent company to Warbird Recovery. AirAssets Intl. is my day job to pay for the fun planes…
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Missing tail piece…
You will have to visit our facility near Denver, Colorado to see a real cross on the tail of our Bf-109 project. Not much left after 60 years, but visible…
Snowplowing…
A REALLY low pass!
Tango Tango is actually a “convertible” version. It is a two-seater that can convert to a single seat version in about 3-4 hours. Nice!
