Don’t forget that we are restoring two Bf-109s to flying condition also. One is for sale or trade… Would make a great addition with a Me262 acquisition…http://www.airassets.com is our site for aircraft sales.

There are some interested buyers in one of the three remaining 262s who have indicated that they MAY bring one to the UK for a tour. Interest from the forum to see such a tour would help our cause in convincing a buyer to commit to a UK tour- or make a permanent home there. Any support (demand) for a Me262 to come to the UK is appreciated and WILL go to our interested buyers. How about a “Virgin” sponsored tour???

The engines are “gate limited” at 500 knots of airspeed on the Me262, but the extra power from the GE CJ-610 engines is really nice on shorter runways and better climb rates. I hope to post the new performance numbers as they come out. I will also be updating our http://www.warbirdrecovery.com website with news. BTW, has anyone read the new book yet? Any comments? It is getting great reviews over here and really helping with awareness of the Bf-109 rebuilds and also the new Spirit of Flight Center. Would love to hear any comments. Thanks! Gordon Page

Would certainly like to see a collector buy one to display in the UK. We have three for sale. Also, TANGO TANGO is a convertible version, meaning it can fly as a single seat OR a two-seat variant. This aircraft is powered by more powerful engines than the first Me262, White One. I will post more information as it comes in!
