Its going to go ahead early next year going by the email I got with my ticket refund
TFC has already said it’s not leaving Duxford and I would imagine Flying Legends will be replaced with their own show. I really don’t know why the loosing of one airshow is seen as the end of the museum. Lets face it we have no idea how much Duxford made out of the show compared to it’s own shows.
I guess time will tell but fingers crossed this will work for both organisations.
Over Redditch this afternoon a small gaggle of possibly Spitfire, Hurricane (G-HUPW) and two smaller aircraft. Great sight and sound!
It flew over Redditch and apparently popped into Birmingham airport! It’s such a shame it’s lost it’s shark scheme but hay ho owners prerogative I guess!
Not keen on this new layout at all!
Red and silver Moth, possibly a Hornet Moth over Bromsgrove/Stoke Prior at midday today (14th)
The 7 Daks went to Shuttleworth and will be arriving back tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow is arrivals day for the European based aircraft and Monday I think is a rehearsal day
Yes you need parking tickets for those days (4th and 5th) as they are an event day and not a normal museum day. Sunday and Monday are just normal museum days and so the parking charge is included in the ticket entry price.
It says nothing about having to get a parking tickets for Sunday or Monday, just standard entry tickets
From what I read and bought you need to buy a ticket in advanced for Sunday and Monday but the parking permits are for Tuesday and Wednesday
Harvard flying South over Redditch at around 1:00 this afternoon, any tie ups?
Timings for the Tornado 3 day tour have yet to be released. It is probably best to keep an eye on the R.A.F. Marham Facebook page for the latest details.
OFMC found the
Spanish Heinkel CASA 2-111 was in much more of a bad way than first thought when it got here I was lead to believe.
Just check their website for the price and take it from there. Personally I would charge face value or below
Thanks for the info BrizeWatcher
