UH-1 just flew over Redditch heading SE(ish). It was the standard green with a grey underside and a red/white/blue band around its tail. Has G-UHIH been repainted? I am sure when I last saw it the colour sceme was green all over.

Thats because most visitors are the general public and not enthusiasts therefore they do not realise that just because its there doesnt mean it will fly. I know alot of people who went to Cosford for the Vulcan so obviously they do.

Yeah that was the mistake!(post #19) The page says it has been in the States for a number of years.

I found that as well…still going though!
Oh and has anybody else noticed the mistake on the news page of the main Flypast site? It concerns one of the shows preformers.

I would keep em……animals normally have ‘white eye’ not red, dont ask my why they just do!

The Vulcan flew direct from Holland to the Wellsbourne wings and wheels show and was then off to Kemble. It was great to have a Vulcan fully powered up only about 50yards away with another flying overhead…… and all for £5 a head! Well done to all involved.

Lancaster did a few passes at the Astwood Bank Vintage Gathering today also a P-51 and the CosmicWind flew over Redditch on thier way to Cosford

The Vimy will be at Duxford until October(I think) and then it will retire to Brooklands. It would be nice to it flying at Legends…fingers crossed!

I have been to every show and really enjoyed them apart from 97, cancelled due to flooding:( and last years due to clashing with Iron Maiden:dev2:
definatly going to this years show though:D
