She looks great and im sure im not the only one who cant get to Bournmouth to see her.

The North Weald photo bus………Ahh such memories! This bus was used before the flying display started and I think they stopped running at the start of the display. They were used to let people get to the live side aircraft.
I think a change in the law put an end to such things as RIAT stopped there busses around the same time.

It does not matter what country they are from or aircraft as they all have to fly within set regulations.
That is why there have not been any major crashes at a UK airshow for quite some time.

I thought the USAF considered the cobra as a parlor trick and of no tactical value? just goes to show how things can change! Especialy now they finaly have a plane that can do one.

if glacier girl does fly over, it seems a wee bit risky for such an expensive peice of machinery. i was gonna say such an old bird, but i suppose most of the parts used were pretty new and refurbished when restoring it.:p

I think that the whole idea is to complete the delivery flight. It was on its way here when it crashed. Rather like the CAF sending the B-24 over in the 90’s. And dont forget it was done many times with many different types in the war so it is posible.
Personaly I am keeping everything crossed in the hope it happens!!!

I like that one to!!
I think it just comes down to preference as to change a colour you add another. The colour opposites are as follows-

cyan(blue) – red(bright)
yellow – blue(purple)
green – magenta(deep red)

The colours in the brackets is how they look to the eye.

The yellow cast is caused by the halogen effect from the sun.I am not sure if you will get the colours right as you are adding blue to get rid of the yellow and so this is adding another colour cast. It looks more purple but trust me its blue!
To be honest I like it the way it is.
