Yeah but it goes even further that, The same steam plant is used in Luda class from which the 051 is decendant so the chinese not only know how to handle the possiple machinery of Varyag, they can produce it by themselves.

When we first time fired our piece, it was in direct-firing range where we practiced anti-tank use of our 122mm howitsers. First we shot few rounds with smaller charge ammunitions and it was basicly just like firing a mortar, you could almoust see the mutions flying in the air. I felt that is this it? Wasen’t artillery supposed to be some kick-ass stuff?

…Then we changed to full charges. Few of our guys went to the side of the howitser to see better where the hits were falling. I pulled the handle and it was like someone hitting you to every single cell in your body. I couldn’t see nor hear or sense anything for nearly a minute after the shot. Those guys in the side of the howitsers fell to their arses all small stuff laying around in the fireposition were nowhere in sight anymore.

….after the first shock, I knew I gotta get more of these:D:D Beats the hell out of any extreme sport adrealine rush…

Actually chinese own steamplants which they have used in relatively modern 051B/C class are decendant of the Kv-41 plant which is basicly the base for all soviet surface warships steamplants. So the machinery in that part shouldn’t be a proplem to chinese.

I bet….nothing beats firing 122mm howitsers with full charge…even 155mm cannon feels lame compared to it (it has to do with the tube lenght, the shorter tube actually gives better kicks to the crew)

Well I think the magic with Moon is that he actually doesen’t do the drummers job at all, but contributing with his instruments whole differently into Who songs. Thats why the sound of them has always been different from other contepories.

Bonzo and Moon all the way, I mean, if you listen a piece of music that you heard the first time and you can tell right away thats Bonzo or Moon playing in it. With how many other drummers you can tell that? Having unique style and sound is IMO one of the most appriciated feature in any musican.
