My vote for the most pointless airforce… I will use the following indicators:
This airforce has lost all wars it has fought:
– resulted in loosing half of its country’s territory in a single war
– 93000 POWs
– Airforce fled to its remote areas to avoid fighting, or was restricted to its bases for its own self defence
– Airforce straffed its own Navy
– Obsessed with procuring F-16s to the point its a national passion, but instead the US sent Soyabeans (for real)..
Its own Airforce did not come out to fight in 1999 when its own Army troops were being carpet bombed during Kargil…
Its own Airforce killed its Military Dictator General Zia during a crash in the 1980s.
Its own Airforce killed its own Air Chief and other high ranking officials that were involved in Kargril in a mysterious crash in 2003
Its own Airforce is bombing its own citizens in 2006
Its own Airforce has 3 of its airbases occupied by a foreign power
My vote, for the most useless, pointless airforce and wasted squandered resources for a country is the Pakistani Air Force
