freedom of speach is one thing, but promoting hatered towards some nationality is another thing and seems that the latter is almoust important and holy tabu as the previous one in modern days of europe.

Freedom of speak is difficoult and has multible of sides and somewhere goes the line. Holocausting Jews and other crimes of Nazis are one things that we need to keep constantly aware so that newer generations wouldnt forgot them and let the nazis to rise in power once more. Certain exceptions have been taken place in germany and Austria for that, but one migth think it wise is it the best possiple way of dealing thigs…sofar it has been proven efficient and wannabe nazis like This Irving has been effectively declaired as parraiah over it and thats good…”we gotta stop these freakin nazis…” as they sing…

And as i said in my previous answer, those who publish something bears the responsiple.
Now someone who make so called ‘historical’ reaserch to prove that something unecsiting did happen (or this case ‘didn’t’ happen) and same way offending millions of people and their rigths to gain compensation for severe violations of their basics rigths…its noway near same thing as that someone draws a cartoon…a caricature that in west are considered humorous, not political, but humorous.

Maybe its wrong to put man into prison over it, certainly that can happen only in some states of europe, but that man is a brick, nazi and tryes to gain popularity by doing something very disgracefull and im only sorry if muslims finds a fellow suferer from something so low as this Irving is…

But again, No government should be held accountable of its newspapers and thats my stand, and the thing that i will defend. I said in my earlyer post that i dislike the publishing of these images and that it should have been no done, but i would like the muslim world to understand that what they are demanding is unaccetable. As we have freedom of speach that means we have also a freedom of press and therefore governments cannot controll (and should not controll) what the press does, Do you as representative of muslims understand this?

Well att least i understand your point. If some one wants to publsih something, he canot close his eyes fromt the consecounses, nor i think he has any rigth to ignore the possiple reactions. But its the publisher how carryes the burden and the blaim. Íf muslims wants us to respect their religion as holy matter, dont you think that best way of doing it is to attack against our similar ‘holy’ value of freedom? Aka blaiming the whole nation and its leadership for the ill deed, burning down embazyes and threathening to kill people….like someone said, douple standards…Muslims should understand us if they require us to understand them. And no excuse gives them a reason to wiggle their way out of it…
