I have seen some nasty injuries in airsoft – all caused by two things: carelessness and ignorance.. The real war is no different..
exept the eating times are far worse, at least in the artillery…Tough I’ve never heard about airsoft artillerymens   …. 😉
The US not a major player with women’s rights? Ok
Yeap, at least not compared to us (the first country in the whole world to give all womens a change to vote) or other skandinavian nations or even former sosialistic states…

You sound rather nationalistic. I thought we were just one big happy planet.
I don’t need a global day of recogniton to remind me that women are people too. Do you?
Me sounding nationalist?? 😮 😮 perhaps i’ve got some nasty germ form someone else participating this lovely discussion…
My point in the womes right thing was that the western world, USA at the front isen’t exactly the first one to come in mind when talking about it. So blaiming muslims for it makes you sound bit hypocrite. In fact apart from the Skandinavian countries, the equality of womens is best happened in former sosialistic states, in the ex-axis-of-evil countries 😉
I won’t consider it unfortunate. It’s my job now, and if I get sent then so be it. I don’t want your sympathy. The support of my family members and friends here is enough. I’m actually wanting to be deployed so I can get some experience and learn what life in the real world so to speak is like. After speaking with many veterans who’ve come back from the war and asking them what the Iraqis they met thought of them and what they are doing I’m more convince than ever that Iraq was in dire need of change. It was interesting hearing the perspective (conveyed through the vets I’ve talked to) of Iraqis that want change in their country yet their voices are often ignored in the interest of making the United States look bad or portraying us to be the bad guy.
Just out of curiosity, whats your branch???
After reading that statement I really have to wonder just how much you actually do care for the people who serve your nation. In my opinion when you live in a country where you take freedom for granted (England in your case correct?), then one should never consider themselves “fortunate” not to serve in their country’s armed forces to defend their fellow citizens and their way of life. Am I saying everyone should want to join the military in their respective nation? No. Do I criticize people who don’t? No. But “fortunate” not to serve your country? Sounds rather disturbing to me….
Freedom for granted….what do you mean about that? That you need to everyday bomb at least two terrorist so the freedom of your people will survive? And how these big, bad, terrorist threaten your freedom? They will invade USA and set a fasist regime to rule?
What comes for serving your nation, well I’ve done it, I had to and I consider all those who doesen’t a fortunate, tough at the moment with slight bitternes, I demand that if I had to do it, then shall everyone else… 😡 😮 😎 😉 :diablo: :p :dev2:

Respect their values? The Muslim culture treats women as property (with laws backing it up)that men can do whatever with. In the more conservative Muslim countries its a crime to have a Bible, Cross or convert to Christianity. Judism is right out in those countries as well.
Funny thing, becouse at least in here (and most likely down there as well) crishtians, mean these really religious people which truly (or at least try) obeys the crishtian values treats womens as a property as well. In fact the orginal “heaten” finnish culture treated womens truly equally. It’s evident even in our language. There is no separation of femine and maskuline words and we have only one word for she/he meaning both sexes. Argeological findings have shown evidence that we even had strong woman rulers in the times when direct blood hairs to the crown was still way in the future. So it was only the “western civilization” that brought unequality between the sexes upon us…
Tell me Suflanky, do you celebrate the international womensday? Do you know where it was invented? (A hint: look at the map where Finland lies, and then look at the country next to it in the east…)

Why do you agree Golle ????
I agreed with him that this thread is somewhat a joke. It orginally was started by phanty for condolenace to the victims (with some nationalistic BS stuffed behind the lines) and now have turned up being a just another “we americans have the right to bomb-…defend ourselvs” vs. “America is the cause of all evil” argumentings…

I’m bit noob with these english drumming terms but I think I got the idea, basicly very fast phase drumming, found in aggressive punk and deathmetal stuff??
I first started my “Musical selffullfilling” with latin percussions, with Gongas and bongoes. Thus the complex rythm patterns have great appeal to me. Thats why I mostly admire John Bonhams (from led zeppelin) style and found myself very often imitating him (with variable success 😉 ) His use of single bass pedal in a way that makes most of the douplebass users look like woodchops is phenomenal. I’ve managed to get my left foot (i’m left handed) not as good as bonham, but at least to the same planet if so to speak. At the moment i’m trying to adjust my style of playing The Who stuff which is really, really hard. Keinth Moon used douplebass pedals but his overallway of drumming was completely uniq. None have played like him before and propaply none never will. He plays the drums as they where the leading instrument in away that sometimes sounds that he plays the songs melody and not just the rythm…Moony often uses his feets to create the rythmbase and freeing his hands to somesort of berserk whirlwind filling. I’ve tryed to use my quick left foot to di the task of Moon’s twolegs, with not so good results, the style is just too hard..
