ANy source of your info?
I dont even know why we respond to the photoshop comments:rolleyes:
F22 is not provide cover for naval battle groups, its for forces that are sitting in a foreign country on their airbases such as bases at Qatar, Kuwait and such depending on which theatre they have to serve in. That is the same way F-16s are used today along with F-15s.
You would never see an F-16/15 providing support to the naval battle group, rather its own 90+ aircraft provides support.
battle group has to be self sufficient in every aspect whether be it fuel, resources or defensive measure. You cant expect an aircrfat flown form few hundred miles if not thounsad mile radius to go and provide cover.
That was the whole basis of argument for poeple who were against indian acquisition of AC. If it can’t have enough aircrfat to do interdiction and defensive operations then there is no sense of it. One AC won’t do much and thats why Thai and other countries that have one aircraft without any significant airwing are any threat.
where is the engine coming from?
both the diagrams are completely diff, the intakes, the tail end, wings, you name…….
Erez, I hope you would rest ypur case now and stop shouting phosotshoped Levi pictures.
plawolf
very well said.
If we look at the IN AC operations they have so far bought old or second hand carriers and didn’t use them to their possile fullest extent. Be it PN subs or lack of descent aircraft, which plawolf pointed out that for any descent AC you need a complementary airwing.
J-10 with dual engine and dual seats, we are talking about something in the same class as F-14. Keep in mind that Europe has ended the military sanctions and see China as a huge market for their military vendors. This will give china to expadite their R&D work in number of projects.
While China’s economy is growing and with minimum debt, India has a forex reserve of $100 Billion along with over $40 billion debt which is growing fast due to higher interest rates and other eco. factors.
How this would effect each of their R&D projects especially in naval warfare would be interesting to observe for people like us.
Once China makes one builder they will be popping those left and right.
I doubt it is a Grifo. PAF has also looked at Thales RC400 radar for JF-17 which is a very capable radar. But, for logistics reason, PAF might eventually go with Grifo.
Pakistan tested one BVR missile few months ago and there was another test few weeks ago. Pakistan is either working on something with China possibly SD-10 with a different guidance system such as T-Darter’s which was for the first time mentioned by a PAF official or it was a T-Darter itself with the help of South Africa.
no one is becoming nationalistic or defensive, the fact of the matter is that most indians here love to change the story and claim conspiracy theories when it comes to china or pakistan.
by the way, i am not a pakistani nor a chinese. I have travelled to all three countries on business trip and my company extensively deals with defense related entities in these countries.
Aviation is my interest since I have been a consultant in defense industry and that is why i take interest in Chinese, Pakistan and Indian AFs.
India has come out with some good products, dont get me wrong, but the kinda arrogance you guys have irks most people on the internet and in day-to-day dealings.
Its hard too hard for you guys to admit that China and Pakistan have progressed drastically in the field of military hardware and that is simply not acceptable to you guys, blame it on being the self proclaimed aryan race or the shock it gave you guys.
It would be interesting to see where all three of you would be in next 5 years.
modiefied by whoes standard, we can also say that LCA is a highly modified version of Mirage-2000 which might be very well true but doesnt look the same, now does it.
There were number of CGIs and artists impressions came out regarding J-10 and also J-XX. Now we all know what J-10 looks like so no need for speculation.
matt
there is no such current issue with the engine…. that was propaganda made by people like you. If Chinese made a decision to use RD-93 for the FC-1 then obviously they had a “deal” with Russia.
PLA
that was funny….. I wonder if Israel had any part in designing F-23 as well.
I am shocked that he has claimed FTC-2000’s nose looks like Kfir:p
its not a Levi version if you lool closely it has Chinese missiles on the Pylons, unless it was really good photoshoped picture, I doubt it is Levi based image.
