Did the article jsut say a rotatary system for a VLS sytil? how is that possbile when you have 12*2 missiles?

I doubt China will buy the MiG-29 as it would put logistic problems. They usually tend to keep variables to a low while keeping numbers high. My thought is Su-27K. If the darn thing come into service which I hope it does, it would need some serious weapon packages. Originally wasn’t this babe designed for the Granit VLS?

Hamburger my man. Considering that the French **EDITED by WM for CONTENT** they could sell to Pakistan the same aircraft or even China! Besides are the French really gonna be reliable during a full scale war? Russia would stop all equipment to China and its allies if it ever went to war with India. Russia has proven that during war Russia will sell it even an Carrier to take out Pakistan. The Su-30MKI no doubt inferior to the Rafeale in many ways but now doubt its the best fighter in service in South Asia!

Su-30MKi is better than Su-35/Su-37

The airframe of the Su-37 does seem superior but not by much. The majour difference in the ac are the radars. Both aircraft use a large number of compisotes. The Su-30MKI airframe was rivised. the su-37 uses N011M radar will the Su-30MKI uses a more advanced radar called the N011M Phased Array radar which has its roots derived from the MiG-1.42 project. This radar can also command other aircraft using a powerfull secure link. In defence the Su-30 MKI uses Isreali and Indian EW systems. I don’t know how good Russian EW system is but probabiliy not good enough. I believe both jets have rear ward facing radar. Though I’m not sure. BTW Su-30MKI has an french cockpit and a second seat to reduce pilot work load.

How much did India spend on the LCA project? And besides such a jet would stay usefull in Asia for 3 decades considering the Pakistani’s, Chinese still use J-7 and are not talking about taking them out of service yet. By 2015 India’s MiG-21 Bision would be completely out of service and considering that the MiG-21 is BVR capable thats impersive. By 2025 PAF and PLAAF would throw away their F-7s. Why? because they just built them last year! The other reason being that other 4th generation aircraft would be in large serivce in Asia as well.
