Exactly. And the IPGW has some aspects (like BVR air war) that were much more complex and developed at that time.
If people read more about that conflict, they sure will become much more respectful regarding IqAF and IRIAF, and ACIG is most certainly the best source to read (I still don’t have Tom Cooper’s book, but hope to have it soon). 😉
Yes, that´s exactly what Mark2 said:

5000 x 12 = 60K 😉
Great pics Franck, congratulations 🙂
This one above is particularly amazing, with one Lawn Dart landing and another one being flown in such a manner that generates those vortices (and there´s a third aircraft in the picture, I´d say a third LD).
Amazing pic indeed.
Think I can recognize Slash (GNR) and Joe Perry (Aerosmith) there.

And i misunderstood ‘fagot’ for a long time. Only recently did i find out that it meant a ‘bundle of sticks tied together’ 😀
Yeah, this Fishbed is a mistery to me.
Same situation with the “delicate” MiG-15 😀

Hi mate, this chopper belongs to Army (Exército Brasileiro). You can see that by the symbol on the door, and also by the fact that Air Force doesn’t use Panthers – only Cougars, Ecureils and Hueys IIRC.
BTW Nice Brazilian choppers pics…
Um abraço a todos em Portugal 🙂
Pretty cool! 🙂 Go Sea King!
the F-4 will soon retire from one of the, if not the only, air force the F-4 really had a lot of glory
IIRC, the Iranians and the Americans wouldn´t agree with you…
IIRC, Italian Air Force has ordered brand new 767-300 for tanker / cargo roles, to replace 707’s.
