got a Sharp 42″ LCD 1080p with built in freeview. Its hooked up to a PS3, XBOX360, WII, Sky my pc and 5.1 surround it cost £750 with 5 years warrenty free, and its absolutely the best £750 ive ever spent the pic is crystal clear and when its in 1080p mode for blueray dvds or the gamestations its like being at the cinema.

A friend of mine has a 52″ Panasonic plasma which he bought a couple of years ago which is the biggest pile of junk ever (his words). He says that sinse he bought it the picture has slowly deteriorated to the point that hes going to sell it and get a lcd but at a smaller size.

Shopping around is definately the best option but dont buy one from a supermarket another friend owns a TV repair shop, Supermarket TVs pay his mortgage at any given time he has at least 12 in for repair.

    Be carefull what you buy:):)

Just a thought but perhaps the MOD have researched those crash sights with crew members still missing. Tried to find relatives and failed so declared them out of living memory? Even though witnesses to the crash may still be living?

Please bear in mind i know nothing of this subject….as someone once said i will get my coat:eek:

🙂 Just take a pair of wire cutters. Find the nearest speaker to where your going to stand then follow the wire to the commentator threaten said commentator with wire cutters and castration end of problem:):) or simply just snip the wires:)

Just out of interest has anyone tried hiring Murray Walker for as a Airshow Comentator that could be quite fun and as its not cars or bikes he might not have a lot to say????

Whats the fuss – what a great little stopover and ‘kneesup’ for the hard working BBMF crews in Amsterdam, I’d look out for another member of the crew looking for something else wrong to stay another few days…….;):D:cool:

Perhaps they ought to change all the engines and do a major service on the airframe changing the maintenance crew once a week until the entire staff at Coningsby have been rotated through:D:D:D

Road trip to Amsterdam sounds good beats flying anyday.

Think about it…on the ferry…comfy seats, bars open…cheapish fags plus the delights of amsterdam stretch the job out a bit make a weekend of it:)

Flying for instance in the Dakota…no booze no cheap fags no comfy seats or beds. get their because the daks needed its got to be a quick job so no delights of amsterdam and the ferry will workout cheaper :dev2:
