Just proves that the fitting of ABS brakes is an exercise in futility ??? Makes front & rear fog lights look like another money spinning waste of time !! & the the compulsory fitting of Day Time Running lights will save millions of lives every year NOT !! . Thank goodness for seat belts … a safety feature that actually works !!!

In or out it wont make the slightest difference to the rest of the world . China likes us & buys Gordons Gin & Earl Grey tea , but cant tell the difference between UK & E U. Its just a big market for containers full of Christmas decorations & cheap plastic tat . They would also like us to buy MG Cars & Great Wall pick up trucks . India knows who we are , because most of its brothers & sisters work here in the NHS & its uncles & sons run our local mini cabs & Mini markets. The USA knows who the UK &EU are but hav’nt the faintest idea WHERE we are , unless they stick a pin in a map of Europe . They know that we have a Queen & ride Bicycles & spill oil in the Gulf of Mexico. Holland & Poland will be sorry to see us go because Holland likes us & Poland would like to be like us . France couldn’t give a toss , as , along with Greece & Italy they are on the fiddle . France never wanted us in , in the first place & thinks it owns the EU. Germany actually DOES own the EU &treats it as its own private bank , soon to revert back to the D. Mark & continue its quest for Euro domination. Its a bit late ask forgiveness off old Empire, but if we ask nicely we may be lucky & get cheap , chilled Australian butter , NZ lamb & Canadian bacon . But don’t hold your breath . Nope the world wont give a stuff & we wont notice the difference .

Its not only Aviation that is suffering …..Teenagers , both in UK & USA , have also lost interest in Cars & Motoring . They no longer look at having a driving licence & buying / driving their first car , a ” Holy Grail “experience . My generation couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel , meet/take out girls , explore the country , look for jobs farther afield , get to disco’s & pubs with mates . Kids today have more interest in On-Line , games , communication, cyber friends . The thrill of a big bore exhaust, taking off the hub caps & go – faster stripes & a wood rim steering wheel , have long gone !!!( Bring back lost youth, bid time return ! )
