I’ve just had my last Hospital visit five years after being diagnosed with Bladder Cancer . The NHS’s 5 year duty of care to me is now over . The bladder was removed after the rmoval of the tumour as the tumour proved to be invasive .
Ive had CT scans , ultasounds , X-rays with radio active Gunk pumped through me . I ve had tubes a & needles & peoples fingers shoved in all sorts of places . Yes there has been some hiccups , time wasting , frustrations & the usual NHS Crap nursing …However , although I will remain the rest of my days as a Urostomate , complete with my self adhesive , plastic , removable , external uro-bag …I have been signed off as clear , the cancer has been cut out & shows no sign of appearing in other parts of body .

Well done the NHS for all the good work & keeping me alive ….a plus being , in many parts of the world this operation & all the continuing equipment support & prescriptions would have cost me an absolute fortune . …

I believe its already sent back pictures of an old Vauxhall Victor , 2 cigarette butts & a half empty can of Carlsberg Special Brew !

Dont worry about it !! Most other countries fly our union flag upside down .
