The UK has some of the highest & best tide flows in the world , so more research into this option would be welcomed. It will be less polluting to the eye as wind turbines. I also believe there is a future for Hydrogen Cell power!!

The big Icelandic eruption completely negated all the human carbon emmission savings for the past 10 yrs . You cannot beat mother nature . & apart from Gasoline consumption , while the average American changes his engine oil every 3.000 miles , & the British have lost all interest in Electric cars –I think we are on a bit of a hiding to nothing!!

Because we are swamped with GREEN TAXES ….& Government must be seen to be doing some thing about spending all this GREEN TAX money!! Dont forget climate change is not a natual happening its a money heavy big business , lots of GREENIES with their sticky beaks & snouts in the trough, trying to make people like you & me guilty about taking our cars to the shops or going on holiday with Easy Jet!!.

If they spent more money on plugging volcanoes or shoving corks up cows bums ) LOL ) we may get some where . But as you state , yes , we are just chucking money into the wind!!

A recent survey stated that Wind Turbines only turn for 6.4 hours in a 24 hour day & then at ony 32% efficiency . ( all average)

So basicaly when then are stood there motionless they are useless !! & when the blades are turning they are just a bit better than useless.

So yes , they are just one great big waste of money .

& no, we dont make them in this country & yes they do only have a limited life span!!
