Obviously it depends on which way the wind is blowing but yes, normally they do land and takeoff on 23. For the past 3/4 days though, they have been landing/taking off on Runway 05.

tenthije – City Star have been running for about a year I think
they now have 3 Dornier 328’s TF-CSA,B,C and are based in Aberdeen
they operate to Kristiansund, Oslo and somewhere else. They did operate
from ABZ to Blackpool but have recently cut it this winter
Hope this helps

Hi Comet,
The spot landside is pretty rubbish for spotting from (Cafe something) as there is 1 or 2 windows and if there is a British Airways Airbus in you can’t see a thing 😮 . I would not recommend that 😀

Sam

Hi Guys,
I use the RadioShack Pro-71, it works like a charm and has room
for 100 frequencies 😀
Cheers,
Sam
Hi Guys,
I use the RadioShack Pro-71, it is really useful and has room
for 100 frequencies, was about £100 when I got it, but that was at least 4 years ago, I got it from a shop on the approach for Manchester, just can’t remember what it was called but planes were quite low over the top of it
Hehe, a remember a European Aviation 737-200 came right over
Ouch 😀 , my ears lol
Cheers,
Sam
HUY-DUB wouldnt work would it, its far too near to Robin Hood Airport
Ryanair’s Dublin Routes to The North East of England are:
Durham Tees Valley
Leeds/Bradford
Newcastle
Robin Hood Airport
I doubt there would be a market for DUB-HUY with Ryanair would there?
Would be good for Humberside but I can’t see it happening
Maybe Cityjet could start it or Air Wales, Eastern Airways, Flybe
Anyway good news for MAN with a new SNN route 😀
Cheers,
Sam
