When they retracted the gear (left or right, can’t remember) the green light to show that they are locked didn’t show, they made a low fly-by to see if the gear was infact down before making a full emergency landing.

Not saying it was in this case but do they do this every time a light bulb goes – surely perhaps procedure could be to replace the lightbulb before declaring emergency, not an easy task but should be made easy,

Many thanks for the replies but I must strongly disagree here – I took (and passed) my 11 plus and go to a grammar school (not wanting to boast – I really hate it when people go “F’in bod or snob behind your back when you tell em what school I go to)
