Those who are taking the mick out of the London-Ashford name appearingly do not live local.
Its an easy trainride into london, and South Eastern will be running high speed Hitatchi trains into London from the coast passing throught Ramsgate (For Manston) and Ashford providing less than one hours journey from the coast along the CTRL into London; for commuter fares…so Lydd (as of 2008) will be readily and quickly reachable from London as will Manston.
The black nose is gone !!!!!! I’ve never minded the Alitalia livery, but the black nose spoilt it all; gave it a very dated look.
I know little about winglets, however from the extract on the -400D I read it becomes apparent that winglets cause wing stresses. I am going to assume that the LCF uses the original -400 wing (would have to be designed and built from scratch if a new wing was required), and perhaps the unusual shape increases wing stresses and winglets would push these stresses beyond normally safe operating limits,
Just my assumptions which are likely wrong, but schmeh – the more opinions the better 😉

Perhaps they sold BACON as they knew how screwed up it was, and their starting over on the regional side – returning to their routes. Should see some interesting competition.
Possibly so, but sometimes it is simply not appropriate to release sources 😉

So you’d say you’ve got it on good authority? :confused:
Zzzzz! FFS, its E-jets for baby
Perhaps people would question this less if you were to suggest how you know this, as far as I know at present, this could just be your speculative view. 😮
Sorry guys we had one of these a few weeks ago 🙂
Never!!! 🙁 My mistake I apologize;
What was this thread entitled – so I can search it?
I’ve played a few in my time all 15 and a half years of it.
Flirted with the flute on numerous occasions between 10 and 13.
Since the grand old age of 7 until 12/13 I played the violin, loved it until other time pressures meant lessons were intruding into time I needed to be spending on school work.
After this I played Clarinet between the ages of 12-14 as I preferred it over the Violin, but again lessons took up to much time and lessons became a drag.
Nowadays I’m teaching myself guitar, a number of months later I’m just as good as when I started. I’ve mastered the fingering of the chords, yet it still takes an hour or two going between each, it really is painstaking to listen to (even for myself). Any tips?

I’m not sure about it. It seems pretty dull.
School/Work is dull…
Thats excelent, albeit odd, but I love the retro touch.
Would any patient member here be prepared to explain how the feeder Airline system in America works, as in how the agreement between (in this instance) CO and ExpressJet works;
Ta,

Its 20 E190s for baby

Is this just speculation or otherwise?
The current Airbus fleets’ of BMI and the Embraer Fleet of the Regional unit is fairly recent and I doubt it is likely to change.
I personally envisage this being a mix of aircraft to replace the BMI Baby fleets and perhaps the odd long-haul aircraft to supplement the A330s.
Therefore I reckon we’ll be seeing tenders of 737NGs and 787s or A320 Family and A350s from Airbus,

A great shame indeed.
At least we have two man crews in case of such an event, what occurs in the future when the computer flying the plane gets ‘seriously ill’ :confused:
An interesting report, shame about the delay, but these things happen unfortunately,
Was confused about the airline at first, GSM always make me thing ‘GlaxoSmithKline’ – very strange indeed :rolleyes:
I eagerly await the sequel, what kind of service is provided mid-flight?

The BA franchise , there was a rumor that they might be giving that up , but again that is still to be decided,
If one did a search, there was, a good few months ago, an indepth discussion on this subject such as the implications of giving up the franchise and I (think) I remeber news that Loganair were giving up the franchise in the latter stages of this decade, certainly one of BAs franchisee’s were.
