Superb shots there, no discredit to yourself but for a payware product the textures dont have that glam X factor that you’d expect – some freeware’s do

I know I called it ‘Wozza’s Weekly Classics’ but the charm of the stratocruiser – a much easier plane that the DC-6 to fly I assure you – was too great. The last two are a DC-7 but its very similar to the DC-6 so i wont post anymore of that.

If you knew me proper, i’m less lazy than most – if you knew how long setting up and joining said yahoo group takes i could be forgiven to ask if anyone knew of any sites off the top of their heads.

Leasing

Following on from this, whats the state of the world leasing markets. You have got your giants, ILFC and GECAS who have deep market penetration because they have large fleets to lease out, but would there be room for another entrant.

Obviously a new carrier, unless your an indian lo-co, can not start off with 120 A32Xs, but would a carrier utilising say just the 3 A319s be succesful – I was particularly wondering if lo-co’s in Europe require the short term lease of aircraft, the reason behind picking the A319 as an example,

Hey all, got some great shots – in my opinion – for you to look at. I was hoping to make them big by learning how to use photbucket but i just couldn’t be bothered.

Atlantic Airlines DC-6 (my new favourite airliner following airliner world). ATIS was winding me up, because it kept appearing when I reloaded the flight (have to close flight sim to save screenshots) i reccomend you look at the pics close up, it was a demonstration flight over coventry. Was very lucky, i thought I might have. Did have some dreamliner ryanair shots, but i deleted them whilst uploading them didn’t think it’d have an effect. Would of had a landing shot or two but she is very hard, but fun, too fly so i was concentrating too much.

I’m more of a short haul flyer, however I occasionally do a hop to NYC from the UK when the lure of a long haul aircrafts detail tempts me, my longest is a B744 Lufthansa flight from FRA -> JFK

In a word, YES

If its the planes your interested in photographing, in my opinion no UK airport comes close, but dont expect the actual travelling throught it bit to be particularly brilliant

Sorry guys, but I would like to carry on this thread a bit.

What ever happened to the Air Transat fleet, did they ever have any fleet renewal as as far as I know the fleet as it stands now is the A310 and A330, plus a few short haul A320s (i think), but that wouldn’t count as fleet renewal because they never had anything there. Did they downscale capacity with the retirement of the L1011 and B757s?
