After any current/pending refits, what will be the main differences between their Economy and Prem Economy products.
We’re looking at flying out to NYC in style, you can fly out on Maxjet for £995 in business or £725 on VS Prem Economy, which of these is the better deal?
Its most likely in good servicable nick, just worth more in parts. Which I could believe, with the 777 being very popular.
How does that work, surely it could of made far much more revenue over say another 9-10 years, and then be sold (albeit for less than it would be now) as spare parts, would that not make more, or are B777 parts that valuable?
wow great shots all, i’ve given up FS’ing for the mean time, most of my time now is spent learning my guitar and even if i wanted FS, my crumby comp is now having difficulty running the space-age FS2002. I am still saving for a new, half-decent computer but what specs would allow for the playing of FS X (i’ve no idea about these things), i’m tempted to get a quote for just upgrading my current CPU, see if its cost-effective,

EDIT: I found the following jibberish about what I need, would any computer-minded person be able to tell me what computer spec to request a quote for, all i’d ever use is FSX and MS Office,

I must agree it would look amazing in the full Jet2 colours,
Can anyone inform me of the base allocation for the fleet for the winter season?
Where are fellow members PMN or especially tomfellows – not seen them around since my return,

All modern commercial passenger aircraft have a ‘RAT’
I thought they were RAMs
How about

and

Thanks ever so much, found both links very interesting.
I certainly was flying with the band, and here’s a nice view from said A321…
Any chance of a trip reports, not read any from you recently and your scandic jaunts are always of an interesting nature and a good read all round,

This sounds a very poor (british rail style) excuse!! A route suspended because of 1 sick aircraft???
OK since none of the high earners at BMI have thought about it…………Fix the sick one, meanwhile lease another to do the sick ones work!!!  (commision charge for this exclusive idea is in the post BMI 😀 )
As mentioned above – they are apparently having difficulty sourcing another 330 of sufficient standard, which is unsurprising.
I have doubts that this is a fake in order to suspend an unprofitable route, my understanding of the market is that christmas would be a very busy period for flights to India, so it would be unwise to indefinately suspend a route at this time when most Xmas bookings would be taken,

Aer Lingus were quite right to suggest that £1bn was an undervaluation, however i’m sure MOL knew this prior and was trying his luck. Its my guess this will far from be the final offer we see from FR, considering the commercial benefit over the next few decades with EI on board is significant.
Although it has been stated the two airlines would remain independant, there would definately be synergies which would benefit FR, and i’m certain the US routes would provide a platform on which FR could jut out into the long-haul market as the rumours suggest,
You never know, I could be wrong but I do believe this is a story to watch in the future and another bid is likely,

Does look rather good – however my attention was drawn by the brand new sprinter van which is delightful 😀

Bloody o leary ud think he ruled the damn country he should just shut up go back to counting his money and stop complaining!!
Only time he shows his face is when theres a chance for some promotion!!
Bloody o lukeylad ud think he ws the opinion police
Well done O’Leary for making a stand, and in my opinion, from what BBC News are saying, the industry is behind him 100% however is sitting back and allowing O’Leary to take the criticism that inevitable follows such a controversial statement.
The measures brought in at the time were necessary, however looking back mistakes have been made, and in the end this will likely be used as a practise run almost – all the problems have been thrown in the air, and a strategy for limitations, and those who must bear expenses can be ratified to avoid confusion in any future event of a similar nature.

No it was an Egypt Air Cargo A300F. Certainly looked nice over by cargo. 😎
The Jet2 trucks are part of the Fowler Welch coolchain distibutions. Owned by the Dart group and thus they advertise on the side of their trucks. Have a base at Teynham, Kent. Therefore no link to EGMH.
Meh – looked UPSish to me, what time did it leave, as I left at 1900 and couldn’t see it on the ramp,

Quick heads up for any Manston enthusiasts. First new cargo flight this Wednesday..
A good catch for Manston. 😉
Hey people – long time no log-on
😮 Would this be UPS, down to Ramsgate beach and could hardly believe my eyes to see a UPS A300 – was wondering the details surrounding this particular flight, regularity/origin/contents if possible.
Also, I saw numerous Jet2 vehicles on the motorway, can anyone explain considering Jet2 have no operations in Kent, and merely a flight to Gatwick from Manchester in the South as a whole, last time I looked.
Back to Manston, what do people know about Jentex, noted their oil drums and the web yields no info,

Cheers guys, having a great day! Thanks for the replies and the thread James
