Why are there washing lines on that B732?
Only the most elderly B732s owned by tight wads still have these. They were used as cables to connect the flight deck with the Tail area but most aircraft have been retrofitted with the cables housed within the fueselage. There was a big discussion on this recently in the commercial forum, look it up, its something like “Johannesburg photos”

Can see Turkey been a big growth market in the future, particularly if it joins the EU, the likes of Istanbul would be popular, and i’m sure we’d see the likes of Jet2, FlyGlobespan offering Antalya, Dalaman etc etc.
For some reason I can’t see Jet2 going for such routes, perhaps just the one Istanbul route.
For that matter i can’t see Ryanair going for it immediately
It went on about how poor MyTravel were to fly people to Cancun when a hurricane was in the area, even though flights were suspended and arrangements made when it was forecast to hit the area.
However it did make a bold claim that them EU compensation rules are not worth the paper they are written on, Ryanair consistently use the loophole stipulating that compensation and refunds are not manditory when the circumstances are out of the airlines control, and constantly flights (and it seems ones with poor loads) are cancelled because “the state of the aircraft means safety is endangered” – many elderly people were thrown out of Lubeck airport and told to find their own way back to prestwich – appalling – and apparently flights were offered five days later from Dusseldorf and Frankfurt –
We all know what Ryanair are like – they should paint on the aircraft – “Get nothing more than you pay for” or “if your lucky your on this plane”
Hey, Thanks. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mike, CEO/Founder of North Star Airlines. Nick (vrocking) has the same title as myself.
Well, EDI just happens to be our Main HQ aswell and it is really up to Pilots who Join which VA and if they have a good time.
Thanks
Mike
Our base is BRS, do you have MSN at all?
This sounds very intersting, good luck with the project and that, I know how demanding getting a VA off the ground is, but i’m a wee bit biased so I have to say this:
Fly KeyJet – your Forum airline, http://www.keyjet.org
Interesting idea that would be good to see catch on

I have one Gill Airways inflight magazine – ‘Top Flight’ (Summer 1995).
Some interesting stuff in it – mentions their routes, and some thoughts about routes they may operate. There’s one picture in the mag of one of their planes – ATR72 G-BWDB.
There’s a nice advert on the back cover also for ATR.
I can scan it all if you want (34pages, A4). We’ve got a new whizzy photocopier at work which scans pages in a second and emails them to you.
Thanks very much it’d me much appreciated, my email is wozza_1@hotmail.co.uk
Or you could use the ones I already have! PM my wozza i have a large collection of Gill Airways timetables etc

You lot must be mad going out in this weather, I haven’t been snapping for months. Good luck all the same. 😮 😀
You do not know the meaning of the word Cold 😀
Ever been sent outside to do P.E (well sitting outside listening to the teach babble on for an hour) in just a vest and small shorts – then you’ll know the true meaning – I didn’t even get to run about to warm up 🙁
Oh – great photo’s
