Dr. Ayesha writes with a lot of authority but sadly her “facts” are based on conjuctures. So far none of her “facts” have been proven true either by another independent source or by herself. A long time back when she started to write for TFT she wrote that Al-Khalid tank is a soup up version of T-72?
BTW, according to H Khan at Pakdef.info qouting Flight International PAF has 147 opertional Mirage 3 & 5 and total tally of PAF Mirages has been 207 aircrafts. The total F-7s of all versions is at 196 aircrafts, 32 F-16 and 42 A-5 which includes five attrition aircrafts bought recently from China.
PAF has two operational F-16 sqds, No. 11 & 14. AFAIK, one sqd has 12 aircrafts and other one with 14 aircrafts. Therefore, PAF has 26 operational F-16s at a given time with the rest of the 6 undergoing regular maintainance.

Dr. Ayesha has NO access to any “insiders” in armed forces of Pakistan rather her students have bluntly said that she herself admitted to them in class that ISPR and MoD have not given her any access to any military information. There few other people in Pakistani media who can be attributed to have good knowledge of the armed forces which includes Aroosa Alam, Asad Rizvi and Pakdef.info
