Hand – I just wanted a change more than anything, I like VLM and I thought I’d get them a little more “airplay”, it reflects my interests perfectly. Yes, I still use Comet, I want to get up to that 1000 post mark sometime!! Part of the fun was waiting to see if anyone else made the connection between the two names, but Frank (frankvw) sent me a PM telling me he had sussed the new name straight away!!

I have no connection at all with IsaacNewton, Edmund Halley and IKBrunel (just because they don’t agree with the rest of the posters on this thread does not make them all one person), but from the point of view of a female poster, I do not like that image. What would you men think if us girls were to download obscene images?
Personally, I don’t see a connection between those three names. What has IKBrunel got to do with IsaacNewton, or Edmund Halley, come to that? Comet and VLM Flyer are one and the same, but everyone knows that anyway and that is no secret.

When I was in MAN last month, waiting to fly to Dublin, I saw a disgusting KLM Fokker jet. The tail was filthy, I’ve never seen such a filthy looking aircraft.

I am about the shatter the myth that women interested in aviation only want to be (or should want to be) cabin attendants.
I would love to be an airline pilot (any type, any airline).
I would love to be an aircraft engineer (airframe or avionic).
I would love to be a flight despatcher.
I would not want to be a stewardess or check in assistant.

I too have an optical mouse, but I’ve always used mousemats in the past, and I’ve got into the habit I suppose.
