lugging more electronics dosent make those electronics suprior. in case you didnt realize the F22 is smaller than the MKI. go figure kid. furthuremore it dosent have to mean that you even have the technology for some of the avionics that go into western fighters. when you talk about netcentric capabilities you take into account external assets. it hardly does any good to mount sensors on the MKI and then not have anything to link them with. thats why you need the infrastructure in place. what makes you think russian RWRs are more advanced than western ones? systems like SPO15 or SPO32 are nowhere near wesnter systems like ALR69. even though flankers are far bigger tan F16s and 18s.

it dosent do anything for them the FC1 wont do. they need a BVR platform with a reasonable level fo technology. buying the gripen alone does absolutely nothing. buying the gripen with AEW/C and yes that would allow a quantum jump in PAF capabilities. 60 gripens alone simply means that they can replace old airguards from their inventory. and it only means that IAF will have to spend a few extra missiles on 60 odd jets. without AEW support a gripen is just as blind running into flankers as an FC1

i understand this far better than you do. which is why i say gripen dosent do much for PAF on its own. they dont have AEW/C capability and they do not have the support EW gear and assets. ad to that things like AAR and yes gripen really ends up being a small ranged fighter for the PAF.
