Title Amended
Thanks for pointing out the error. I have amended the title to the image.
Yes . . From Marbella
Thanks for the reply. It appears it is located in Marbella. I have a handful of others, but full size, you can see it wart’s ‘n all!
Thanks everyone
Ahoy!
I appreciate the kind comments and remarks. One does feel a tad humble. 😉
Virgin Atlantic ‘Lady Penelope’
Ahoy!
So I see you captured Lady Penelope as well. I like the last image. Nice contrasty colours. 🙂
just goes to show how busy it is there !
Yeah! Saturday afternoon, and this is quiet. Just watching for a while, and it was non-stop stuff. The shot was from quite away off, so was reasonably pleased that I managed to at least get a half decent image to share.
I’ve uploaded the full sized (cropped) image to my own webspace. Much clearer than the reduced version.
Small world!
Ahoy!
Thanks for sharing the pics. Very nice captures. I’ve attached a 100% crop from one of my recent images. Seems ‘Mustang Sally’ gets around a bit!
Nice shot again,Pirate
Shame they bloody fences always get in the way!!!
Folk must get sick a lot on those boats, once, i was returning home from a Euro work jolly, on the Zeebrugge to Rosyth boat, and the medivac landed on the boat after midnight to evac a sick pax (and i was sound asleep in happy Z land   )
Ahoy Tartan Pics!
Again, thanks for the comment and feedback.
Except I was on the Adonia (a P&O cruise liner) – now the Sea Princess with Princess Cruises. I know what you mean though. I used to sail regularly on the old Zeebrugge/Dover route when coming home to Blighty on leave.
As for the fence . . it was already there, and the wolves were after me!
EasyJet & Airbus A319
Ahoy Rob!
My 2 pics of the bunch are the 1st easyJet and Airbus A319 shots. Really sweet. The others are nice too, but there you are. Keep ’em coming! 🙂
A380 is a corker!
Ahoy Tartan Pics!
All very nice, but my pick is the AA close-up.
Comment appreciated
Im really digging that b&w shot too 😀
Great shots all round there!
Ahoy BHXlocal!
Many thanks. Most kind. Another tick for the B&W AA 777. 🙂
Ahoy Kev35!
Thanks for the reply. Comments noted. I’m not intending to advertise (honest) which is why I keep the full sized versions on another online gallery database, the link for which is not advertised anywhere.
The link provided for the reduced images is for general viewing, so I hope that explains the difference.
My apologies if I have made an error in this regard. Glad you liked one or two of the images anyway. 🙂
As for the images in general, I was located in a small car park just off Heathrow (near Feltham) which is flanked by trees. The only view was up or slighly towards the runway so there was no time to frame any shot. You heard the engines, caught a glimpse of the aircraft just before it came over the trees and took the shot before is disappeared over some more trees. So the bulk were from underneath.
I’m just glad that nearly all came out OK in terms of image quality. Perhaps if the opportunity presents itself in future, I may be able to find a better vantage point. This is all new to me (as is the camera), so it’s still a learning curve.
Ahoy Future Pilot and PMN!
I appreciate your kind remarks and welcome messages. Seems the B&W AA 777 is getting the most comments. That said, I even contacted AA to see if any of their 777 drivers might want to purchase the full sized version, but no response as yet (a suggestion from another forum).
Anyway, it’s nice to be part of ‘the family’.
That’s a miniature version of Hubble!
Ahoy!
Good lord, what a weapon! That’s some glass. Nice images. 🙂
