Well it is 2003 after all so Air 2000 sounds a bit dated, but surely they could’ve found a better name than “First Coice”

    Imagine this scenario…………………

A man of Middle East appearance stuggles up the steps to the viewing gallery at Heathrow, he carries a large bag containing a rocket , over his shoulder is its launcher,
“Are you alright there mate?” asks an aircraft spotter, “Here, let me give you a hand” as he and 3 other spotters help the man with his rocket launcher,
“Thank you,” says the Arab looking man,
    “You’re welcome,” says the spotter,
“It’s a nice day,” says the arab as he sets up his launcher, “been much in?”
“No,” says the spotter, “been quiet today,” he says, “supposed to be an Israeli government jet in later though”
    “Really?” says the Arab.
“Anyway,” asks the spotter, “What you after?”
    “The Israeli jet,” he says,
“Nah,” says the spotter, “you’d get a better view over by Hatton Cross, and a better shot at it!”
” Oh thankyou ,” says the Arab as he dismantles the launcher, “You English are so helpful”

It seems to me that our security forces are naive enough to think this would actually happen

But the top man was there….Jimi Hendrix,

Hey I dont go much on those polls, after all they’re only someones opinion.
Anyone whos taken the time to learn guitar, and take it further almost to virtuosity, gets my vote as a good guitatist.

We talk about Rock guitarists on here but nobody mentions jazz guitarists or classical, These people are at the top of the tree, as it were, when it comes to playing guitar.

Can anyone name any jazz or classical virtuosos?

My favourite jazz man is Kenny Burrell

At last a positive response (Ihope) buildings have been emerging it seems, almost overnight at LGW, it bloody frustrating when eveywhere you look theres scaffolding or a builder prancing about in his little yellow waistcoat, and everyone saying to everyone else “did you get that one?” cos we cant see the runway anymore, with easyjet soon to be operating 319s it gonna be bloody impossible to see em ,

I have heard a rumour that the police at LHR are pressuring BAA to reopen the viewing area only so they can keep spotters in one place…..even if they charge for the privilege just so long as they reopen it, the visitors centre is ok but restricted in what and when any a/c can be seen…..who knows maybe they might build a nice new one at T5 (I can dream)

Hiya dudes, aint been around for some time, cant resist a music thread.
We’ve had this thread some time ago but with so many new members on here its always worth another shot.
I like blues , Jazz and rock, basically any guitar based music.

Kabir, theres a newish band in the UK who might appeal to you, check out “Darkness” they’ve got a real late 70s feel about them, they sound similar to “Rainbow”, well I think they do.
Although not a patch on Slash tho
