I think its mainly aimed at the US government, even more so with Goerge “Dumber” Bush in charge. He waffles on about freedom and liberty and “We’re the greatest nation on Earth” blah blah blah!!! but it took them a long time to get their own back yard in some kind of order. Over the last, lets say ,60 years they’ve had their fair share of domestic problems, McCarthys communist witch hunts of the 40s and 50s, the racial unrest of the 50s and 60s, trade union corruptions, and that waste of human life and resourses the Vietnam war, in between all that they stick a few guys on the moon just sos nobody notices any internal problems, in 1969 the US economy must’ve been at an all time low.

No, I feel sorry for the american people, a succession of American governments have made the United States seem unpopular . We’ve got some american guys on this board, and Im as guilty as anyone else on here for bad mouthing them, but its not directed at them personally , its directed at their government, if they’d only stop poking their noses in where their not wanted maybe there wouldnt be so much terrorism or so many wars, cos you can bet theres been some american involvment in most of the conflicts this worlds suffered of late

I think Bill Clinton was a good President, whatever his morals were his political acumen was sound.

The Americans didnt start with an empty playing field, first they had to eliminate the indigenous people who were wrongly referred to as Red Indians, the elimination process wasn’t far short of genocide.
The melting pot of European cultures was responsible for the demise of native American

I dunno about the Scots the Welsh and the Irish but it wont be long before the English are looked on as an ethnic minority so is it any wonder that we’re nationalistic at times.

Im not pro-American but I feel we have stronger ties with them than any Euro country.

How we all laughed when he said that famous quote
“No American Infidells are in Iraq”

On a serious note, this is very sad, sure he lost his country, but he had a chance to help build a new one. He wasn’t on the target list of the US so he was safe, man I hate war!

………but will they believe the suicide note??? 🙂

Probably the biggest common denominator is the fact that we share the same language.
