    Yea I remember seeing something on TV about it, who was their original bass player? Glen Matlock wasnt it? I bet he was a bit p*ssed off at losing out to a non musical moron like Viscious

    LOL 🙂 compared with some of the youngsters on this board I probably am , in fact Im 53 going on 25, come on Kev how goods your arithmetic? mid 60s ie, 1966 I was 17 add 38 yrs =54 (well I will be in June)………and I still jam with my son and his band, when they let me!

    Have a look at the “I wanna see your face” thread, there I am 20 yrs ago and now 😀

    Yea ! I went there in mid 60s to see the Who, it was supposedly the inplace to be , it was dark, small, and smokey, and very loud, but when you’re only 17 who cares. Most of the big names in rock music played there , The Who, The ‘Stones, Small Faces, Cream, Hendrix etc etc, and a band who I thought were one of the best bands around at the time, The Graham Bond Organisation, both Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce played for the band before forming Cream…………..So, in the 60s and70s if you wanted to see the top rock bands the Marquee was the place to be (funnily enough the Beatles never played there, at least I dont think they did)…btw it was in Wardour Street Soho, I think it closed down in the 80s . Although I live in South London I rarely venture north of the river into the heart of our bustling capital.

    Amsterdam?? and why not ? good restuarants and bars , nice shops, and next to Frankfurt , one of the best spectators gallerys in Europe…………

    your not wrong there mate, Sh*tloads of cartoony stuff which I like, when Ive got some new leads (I do all this on a laptop)to use printer and scanner then I’ll post some of my own drawings.
