RE: A small quiz for the guitar men of our forums!

Duane Allman?? what a waste of as good axeman, Layla was one of the last things he ever did before his untimely death, any of you youngsters who play guitar could do a lot worse than listen to this guy play slide, superb!!!

The fastest guitarist?? there are many jazz guitarists who could make the likes of Edie VH look slow.
Then, what is fast? running up and down a scale? or playing at 16/4 time rather than 4/4, if you’ve got the technique and the know how then you can do most things with a guitar.

Tapping ?? I thought it was Joe Satriani.

A pentatonic scale? to me it means blues, but it is a five note scale.

The guitar with the most strings?? I’ll have to look in the Guinness Book of Records for that one, I’ll take a guess and say 10.

Come on Kabir give us the answers!!

RE: spotting at Rome(FCO), Nice, Naples

    Hi Seb

Sorry the only reports I can find on Fiumicno are pre 9/11, and even then the viewing from the terminal buildings were’nt that good, the perimeter roads being the best viewing opportunities. The same goes for Nice and Naples(pre 9/11)

    Dave
