Wombat!!! I knew if us poms brought up that swear word “cricket” you’d be there before long gloating.

May I apologise on behalf of all English cricket fans, next time we’ll send out a team who know how to play, so , until then, have fun.

Yeah,sorry mate, bad choice of words on my part.

Bringing a baby into the world is definately an emotional experience, not that I’ve actually delivered one , but I have two kids and been there at their births, there’s no other feeling like it.

In actual fact I dont think anything does rhyme with purple, the actual phonetic sound i.e. ..urple

I’ve been through a divorce as well and you’re right it is a different kind of pain, it’s not a physical pain, but it hurts like hell, and it generally leaves some very deep mental scars.

But every cloud has a silver lining so they say, I met somebody who put some meaning back into my life ( see “whats the meaning of life” thread)she gave me the freedom to pursue my hobbies, whatever they were and encouraged me and gave me back the confidence that my first wife ripped out of me, she’s also my best friend.
