RE: And the worst songs this year?

The likes of Pete Waterman and Simon Cowell, thats what’s happening!!

They should bring back the death penalty for people like them, then charge them with “the first degree murder if real music”

    Long live Virgin radio

Yes LGW does have a gallery, opening times are at this time of the year from 8.a.m till 4.p.m.(summertime, 7am-9pm)

Theres a book shop and a cafe there and also undercover viewing in case of bad weather, which is a bit to frequent

    Admission fee- £1.50

You need to head for Arrivals, the spectators entrance is just to the right of arrivals exit, you then take the lift up 2 floors.

Unfortunately parking is a bit expensive if you’re bringing your car,in that case use the long term car park if you do bring your car, it’s about 7 or 8 quid per day, the short term one’ll cost you an arm and a leg

    Good spotting

    Dave 😉

RE: Brian Jones was better than Clapton – discuss, argue, agree

I first saw Clapton in 1965 when he was with Yardbirds, not long after, I saw the ‘stones with Brian jones,
I’m sorry Sadsack, but he wasn’t a patch on Clapton when came to technique.
I’ve never rated Muddy Waters as a good guitarist anyway, just an average blues player.

I suppose when a band name themselves after one of your songs you’re gonna repay the compliment, even if it aint true!!

    Dave 🙂

    RE: Unusual Weather Occurances

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-11-02 AT 01:10 PM (GMT)]That was some storm!! the 1987 one that is

And contrary to popular belief it wasn’t a hurricane, although the winds were hurricane force, which means 75mph and above and force 12 on the beaufort scale.

Meteorologists would call it a Temperate Frontal Storm, which can harness 100 times more energy than a hurricane can.
