Unfortunately to get the best at CDG you have to do a lot of walking,I found the best position was where the regional jets terminate ,but there isnt any shelter there . I was there at the beginning of august and made quite a few new and different aircraft and airlines ,other than that ,yes ! CDG is dissapointing.

    RE: Airlines on the edge

My opinion is thatB.A.are using this as a front to do what they were already planning .It’s been known to most enthusiasts that they were retiring quite a few aircraft in the near future, but not replacing them (yes I know they’ve acquired some A319’s and some A320’s ),and that normally means staff cuts, then B.A. always did play dirty .I think most large airlines will streamline their operations until such times things get back to normal , whatever that is ,but there’s not much hope for the smaller companys I’m afraid.

All yellow was more than likely Virgin Sun as already been suggested, but I was there last Mon. and a Ryanair Boeing 737-200 came in with HERTZ titles and markings it all yellow

I couldnt agree with you more regarding the renaming of Liverpool airport,I think John Lennon himself would be very cynical about it

In my opinion the best short haul company have got to be British Midland, comfortable, good food , and good service,I cant comment on long haul companys as I’ve never flown long haul ,yet

    RE: HETHROW RUNWAY THREE

I was’nt talking about near misses at Heathrow , I was talking about near misses in the air space around London, besides, if you “work” at Heathrow how would you know whats going on every minute of the day,if the national newspapers are to be believed theres been two or three in the last couple of years.I’m an aircraft enthusiast and have been for quite a few years but I still dont agree with three runways or a fifth terminal, but then thats only my opinion.

BA have sold some of their 737’s especially their 200;s so it could possibly be one of them

    RE: HETHROW RUNWAY THREE

Personally I think the air traffic around London should be evenly distributed between the four main airports i.e.LHR,LGW,STA,and LTN .There have been to many near misses, the consequences of a mid air collision above London are to horrific to imagine .i frequent LHR and LGW quite often and have seen one or two near misses, so , no I dont agree with a third runway at LHR or a fifth terminal but I would like to see a second runway at LGW ,if nothing else,to ease the heavy traffic at LHR
