Sorry, seems there is something wrong with the image size 😀
Yes flights are available on http://www.flyfighterjet.com/fly-mig-15-in-poland and it will soon be available on http://www.migflug.com
and for Polish customers on http://jetryders.pl
The ride costs EUR 2999 including all preparations/taxes/fees/equipment
It’s the most powerful jet in the EU for such “fun rides”.
Before I upload more large photos, you can find some more in a Flickr folder: http://www.flickr.com/photos/migflug/sets/72157631575461743/with/8003570961/
The Planes of Fame Air Museum has a flying MiG-15 and during a recent demonstration flight we were allowed to place our cameras on this historic Russia jet. We shot some awesome footage that day and here is the final edited video from that flight.
Enjoy the ride, live the dream!

Is it possible to have a ride in this MiG-15? I did a quick search but didn’t find the US one. There is one in Poland (new): http://www.flyfighterjet.com/fly-mig-15-in-poland Those in Australia (I think it was Air Combat Australia) stopped flying the MiG-15. These MiG-15s and are now on display according to Wikipedia. They changed to the L-39 Albatros: http://aircombat.com.au/
By the way: The video is really really nice! Good job. Did you use a GoPro on the wing? And do they have a two seater for rides also? The one on the video is a single seater
It is based with Meier Motors, Bremgarten Germany
Correct. Might stay in Switzerland again next summer, the Lucky Lady has a Swiss owner. Unbeatable the landscape. The problem is that it is a problem to operate a Mustang in Switzerland. The last two Mustangs finally left Switzerland because all this “noise problems”. Come on, it’s sound!
Landing fee in Altenrhein for example is nearly CHF 500 (ca. EUR 410) for the Mustang. It’s just sick.
Switzerland even operated the Mustang, so it’s a piece of Swiss history.
Dividends would be higher for EADS shareholders, but still the EADS shares lose massively: eads.com/eads/int/en/investor-relations/share-information/share-price.html
Seems not to be a really good deal. BAE shares also down by nearly 7% today.
I really wonder if this corporation with state shareholders is manageable when national interests play such a big role. In the end it is probably less efficient when works ha to be shared between different locations, economies of scale get lost.
Also, France has shown in the past that it follows a nationalist and interventionist industrial policy.
